Organisations we support

WHO I AM is a non profit organisation whose aim is develop a social infrastructure within schools that empowers individuals by acknowledging each student’s unique cultural and linguistic identities.

They are currently building the first children’s mother tongue library in a struggling inner city public school with over 100 titles in 28 languages to support primary school children who don’t have access to literature in their mother tongue.

Who I Am and the European Council of International Schools are encouraging  international schools, organisations, and businesses to join the challenge and end global illiteracy.

The ‘Turn the Page Challenge’ is aimed to support low-income, disadvantaged children who do not have access to literature in their first language.  Your donation will help build Who I Am’s Mother Tongue Library in Vienna, Austria consisting 100 titles in 28 languages. This library will be the first and largest of its kind worldwide in a public school accessible to hundreds of children. The project has received international acclaim from UNESCO, OPEC, U.S. Embassy to Vienna, Room to Read, and many more.
